I am building a scene where i want a particle emitter to track to a point in space relative to a 3d model. So I add a light in cd4 lite and place it where i want it, parent it to the 3d object, save then return to AE. I then extract data on the layer and the new light in AE is not in the same place as it was in c4d. Not even close. Any ideas?
Fairly new at c4d, but this seems like it should be pretty straight forward…
    TIA,

Honestly, I don’t use the Cineware feature (I’m old school I guess) so I can’t provide detailed input but: are you extracting the camera as well? How are you parenting the light (are there Constraint tags in C4D lite)?
