Cinema 4d and Pftrack Workflow w/ undistort node
Hi, and excuse me for my english, it’s not my native tongue.
I’m trying to use the undistort node of pftrack in order to improve my tracking results, but I don’t know how to import the distorted footage into a background object in cinema 4d. Has anyone already tried?
Without the undistort node is pretty easy, you just track, export the scene as .lws and then open it in cinema 4d. Once this is done, create a background object and import the original footage as a texture, so that is possible to model objects (or whatever we want to do in 3d) using the footage as a reference. Then turn the background off to render the scene. Finally, import the original footage and the render in After Effects to do the compositing. Which should be the workflow with the Undistort node? Thanks!
