Is it possible to open a previously edited Cineform Aspect HD Project in PPro 2.0 and continue editing without negative results?

When I open PPro 2.0, I no longer see the Aspect HD splash screen come up . . . even though I re-installed it after the upgrade. All Aspect HD effects, etc., do appear in the effects window, but I no longer have the choice to start an Aspect HD project, just the Adobe HDV project. Any thoughts?

I thought I read in Charlie White’s review that the 1.5 cineform update would still work in 2.0. Perhaps this is not true? Other places I’ve read that you have to get the full Cineform App. Any experiences out there?

I have the full version, it’s just not functioning properly . . . or I am not functioning properly, just haven’t figured it out yet.

Aspect HD 4.0 is required for Premire Pro 2.0 compatibility. Please read the FAQ on http://www.cineform.com for more information. AHD 4.0 was suppost to go live tonight but it looks like it will be tomorrow now.

Patience. You need to upgrade to Aspect HD 4.0 – which was supposed to be released today. Perhaps they ran into a small delivery glitch. Be patient, it will be released. Only $99 if you upgrade before April 20th and if you bought November 1st or later it is a free upgrade. Quite generous if you ask me.

Be careful though. They found a bug. They will fix it, but in the meantime you need both 1.5.1 and 2.0 on the PC or there is a problem with exporting back to the camera. So don’t delete 1.5.1 for a while.

Very good! I did purchase after Nov. 1 . . . so I look forward to it.
    Thanks!
