Chroma Smoothing
If I ingest HDV footage through a kona 3 to Prores for an online, is the chroma smoothed on the way in? We will be capturing through HDSDI. I would like to know if I need to add Graham Nattress’s chroma smoothing filters when I get to Color to grade my show.

Usually does, but how much is hard to say. You can do a test.
It won’t be a bad idea to add the filter.
