I don’t understand what exactly you are wanting to do and with what media you are attempting to make a difference. So, from where I’m standing I can not make a determination to exactly what is needed and your reply confirms this to me and that is why I disagree on not needing to supply a sample so I can be more deterministic about any treatment I could proffer.

Simply put, it is my opinion I would need to see a sample to help you.

It’s not that simple. You need to turn on Show Mask and fine tune the controls until you have a perfect black and white matte of just the green screen with no grey areas.

You have to do the same thing with the Chroma Keyer. You might want to read this tutorial by Keith Kolbo to learn how to use the Chroma Keyer better:

I have no problem using chroma keyer and I know about show mask thing.
I just wanted to know which plugin I saw in that video but obviously you guys have no crystal balls 😉
Maybe my secondary corrector has a problem, I don’t know.

Take a snapshot of the preview at Best(Full) and post it here and we would be happy to have a go at it and share the parameters with you. I believe this is what Graham is asking for as well because you are correct, we don’t have a crystal ball.

I replied we don’t need to do that because it’s a basic thing nothing special or different, just a guy in front of a green scream, I won’t waste rendering and uploading something you can all imagine.
When I select green screen with secondary corrector and pump saturation, it adds more green to that guy too and not only to green screen, I can see his skin is not white anymore but a little green, it’s like I said, if i just turned up a green color button instead of sellecting an specific green.

This is not for our “imagination”. We are offering to fine tune the secondary color corrector for you, on your content, and give you the answer. We are not asking you to render anything. Just use the diskette icon above the Preview window to save a PNG file of a single frame. Then upload it here:

Do you know how to adjust the secondary color corrector to only affect the green screen? This is what we are trying to do for you (if it’s even possible with your footage but we won’t know because you won’t show it to us). We’re just trying to help.

Did you fine tune the mask on the secondary color corrector so that it is pure black and white with no grey?

Joao, I really can’t believe your attitude. You ask a question and two of the most competent people on this forum try to help you, yet you can’t be bothered working with them. What you are trying to do (or describe) does not come from a simple button push, and what you did in the past was pure luck or you have forgotten some of the other parameters you may have adjusted at the time. You admit to having forgotten what the “magic button” was.
When people of the ilk of John and Graham come to your assistance, it is worth treating them with the respect they deserve.

Joao, thank you for your honesty – I completely understand your wish for anonymity and your unquestionable right to preserve your privacy. I totally get it. Maybe, now you have shared this with us, that you will also be aware/sensitive that in the future that when you post a question, here on a very Public Forum, that could in turn result in us asking that the content be made public too.

This is both the power and failing of a Public Arena called the INTERNET.

In your “signature” you quote “We have so much time and so little to do! “. There are many here who are wishing to spend as much reasonable time as needed to assist you. And sometimes that means you need to be a little forthcoming too! Might I suggest that in future that you post an example that you feel comfortable for its content to be “shared”?

Graham you got my reply all upside down.
When I said =

I meant= I’m not a professional, I don’t work with video stuff so my really simple stupid videos are only to give my personal friends(in real life) something to watch while listening(watching) me playing my music.

It has nothing to do with privacy etc, making a small video with some interesting backgrounds(places) to put myself there while playing my music is just like a kid playing with a ball, I really don’t have time to spend about video programs, plugins, how to make them look professional etc because or I’m travelling and playing with my bands or I’m giving scuba diving/sky diving classes cause I’m an instructor, when I have some free time I spend working on my music, if I spend it trying to make better videos I won’t have any time to work on my music.

I appreciate you guys are trying to help but I just wanted to know if that plugin I saw was something basic about vegas green keyer, I mean maybe everybody uses it so somebody here would know its name.I can’t spend free time(which I don’t have)taking pics and talking about settings etc, right now I’m at my recording studio but my video in in my house which I’ll be only around midnight to be with my wife and not to learn about video plugins(or any plugins).

Again thanks for trying to help and sorry if my english made me sound rude/wrong or something.I don’t work with video, I don’t make money with video and I have only a few minutes just like these ones(while replying) to learn something about it.
