    Hi there,
I’d like to use BCC Chroma Key filter on blue background without using the default blue setting and use the color picker to select my color.

Everytime I put the filter on my footage the default blue setting is applied automaticaly. I don’t want that.

If anyone can help please do.

    Claude

    Hi Claude,

You can temporarily disable the filter while you pick the color that you want to sample. For example, if you are in Avid enable the bypass switch at the top of the filter, sample the color that you want to key from the viewer and then disable the bypass switch. In AE or FCP you can disable the filter by un-checking it in the effects control window while you make the color selection.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
