I’m trying to figure out the major causes of flash video choppy-ness.

    https://unicronstudios.org/websites/gtm/index.html

Now I cleaned up my pc, then firefox ran it just fine the first time, the second time i hit play it went right back to playing choppy. IE7 plays it a little better but still a little choppy. I realize that hardware has alot to do with it, and probably the size of the swf 864×300. is there anything else I’m missing?

Anybody have any tips on how to get smoother playback? I’ve reduced the bit rate from 1,000 to 700 and got minimal results.

    Thanks for any assistance

It’s a quicktime movie and it plays smoothly in Firefox and IE on Windows XP.

yeah after extensive testing i realized it was due to my own hardware issues and the unusual size that it was choppy. So i went with quicktime. Thanks for checking it out Fernando.
