  choppy playback between Premiere Pro CC and connected projector…

  I’m currently editing a documentary film right now on the road with my 15″ 2012 Macbook Pro Retina and Premiere Pro CC.
  For color correction I’ll be using a broadcast monitor when I get home. But for editing purposes, I’m looking at my footage with my small portable Optoma W304M projector.

  The issue I’m having is that playback inside Premiere Pro CC is choppy when my projector is connected to my MBR. Could this be because my projector is natively 16:10 as opposed to 16:9? I’m just trying to understand what is causing the issue. As far as I know, I have all the right settings selected in Premiere Pro in the Playback Prefs section. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
