  Choppy fps

  so i use sony vegas and particle illusion, and they work great. But there is 1 thing tht bothers me. When I render the video form vegas, i make sure the fps is 30.00, but when I open it in PE it is really slow and choppy. anywayto fix this? thnx greatly appreciated.
