  choosing between 50i and 25fps

  im in australia so PAL..

  when using my xha1 i have the choice between 50i and 25f. what is the difference between the two and if im doing wedding videography….what would be the better option. does this affect definition?

  and what would be the difference between importing into FCP as:
  HDV 1080i 50 or importing as Apple Prores 422 1920×1080 25p 48Khz?

  I have had a number pf advice for import but still not sure what settings to use!
