  Choosing a camera slider. Which ones are a good value?

  Hello,

  I’m looking to purchase a camera slider that will be used with a canon 5D and eventually a Panasonic HPX250 or something simular. Ideally I’d like to spend $1000 or less if possible. I’d like something that will deliver smooth as silk shots and that is tripod mountable.

  The option of motor/manual mode would be great but is not a must since that will probably increase the price by quite a bit. I’ve been doing a little bit of research but it is kind of over whelming, so I thought I would try and get some info from people who have actually used some of them.
