Choke from the left
I got some real garbage footage from a client not near me. (I really wish I could have just done the shoot myself)
Anyway it was keyed and stabilized (I don’t think they ever heard of a tripod or a table for that matter) almost perfect.
The problem is that I have an edge on all the left most pixels. The top, bottom, and right are ok and have a good clean edge. Usually I would just use a choker if the edge was around the whole subject as has only ever been the case in my own personal experience. I just can’t wrap my head around how to build layers to take care of this issue. So my question is, how do you choke off pixels from just that one side?Just some extra clarification:
it is on the outside of one leg and the inside of the other as though 2 pixels were added to the edge of the one side of anygiven line of pixels

If you only have an edge on the left side, couldn’t you duplicate the layer, mask the bottom layer off on the left (leaving the right side visible), choke the top layer to get rid of the edge and mask it so only the left side is visible, making sure the two layers slightly overlap. This should give you a clean right side with the left side masked, then a clean left side with the right part masked. Unless you have an incredible amount of movement it probably wouldn’t take more than a few keyframes to keep the masks in the right general area.
