    Hi all,

    I’m wondering if there’s way to control the method by which FCP7 resamples when a lower res clip is placed into a higher res sequence? The way it looks now is smooth, but fuzzy, blurry edges like a bilinear or bicubic smooth interpolation (in photoshop speak), but i’m wondering if there’s a way to force it to use something grittier like nearest neighbour, or to simply not resample it at all? I’m looking to get and keep those chunky, pixelated edges.

    Sorry, no, there is not. You can try various other scaling methods…Instant HD by Red Giant Software…scaling in After Effects…scaling in Motion…using MPEG STREAMCLIP….using COMPRESSOR…
