chewed mini dv tape
A photographer friend of ours is in some trouble. If anyone has had a similar experience to this, can you make any suggestions.
“Remember that mini dv tape that got chewed and subsequently broken. Well, I’m really in a jam as it seems no one can fix it, or really wants to. Any “extreme” suggestions ie splicing with special tape etc.?”
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Believe it or not, Scotch tape works quite well in a jam until you can dub to another tape.

Hi,
DV heads are REALLY TINY. Are you sure that won’t cause head damage?
