Cheezy 70’s Burst Effect?

Looks like a perfect think for CS3’s Shape layers with their repeaters and such. Have you seen Jerzy’s tut, here;

I had seen that but didn’t think to try that out…I’m not sure if that’ll give me exactly what I’m after, but I’ll give it a shot.

You could duplicate the layer and apply Shine to the bottom layer, then adjust the colors as needed.
