    I heard that you cannot watch video back on the alexa. If this is true, how do you make sure the SxS cards are recorded to? Do you have to pull them out and then download them? How about if you use an external recorder, for RAW? Seems there should be a way to at least play back a small clip through on-board monitor before moving on to another setup?

    Correct Todd,

    the current builds of the Alexa software do not allow for in-camera playback from SxS, that is scheduled for the next software release, as is ArriRaw recording capabilities.

    External recorders are not limited to the cameras capabilities, so there would not be the same issues there.
