  Check if layer is a shape layer or a collapsed layer

  Is there a way to check if a layer is a collapsed layer or shape layer or any other kind of layer?
  Need it to build some preset for the transform effect and want to have the effect anchor Point always matching the real anchor Point., but this depends on if the layer is collapsed or not?
