Hi i’m loocking for the best way to check field order before a broadcast delivery.

I’ve edited a TV show using premiere and my PC but the video signal output of my pc will not show me field (i think) i’ve only usb-c or hdmi video output. (not specific video card installed). I’m wondering if i can solve it using this converter www. amazon.it/micro-converter-bidirectional-blackmagic-alimentatore/dp/b07c3245yl (but i think is not possible to convert from hdmi to hdmi becouse it will be always digital signal).

Another way should be to export mi file in an interlaced format even a H264 that could be read from my tv throug an usb support? would it work and be quite reliable?

Do you have any other suggestion? thanks

    Thank you very much!

Shouldn’t have to buy additional hardware for this.

You’d never export only one Field. You’re exporting Interlaced, so you will have to choose which Field has dominance (HD has Upper Field dominance; SD has Lower Field dominance). You make that selection in your Export Settings dialogue box.

Make your Sequence Settings match your footage & your Export settings should match what your delivery specs. If you want to confirm which Field has dominance, use MediaInfo.

Hi John thank you for your kind replay 🙂 i think i will try also using media info, but

sometimes i work with many different footage in the same timeline.. in this case i have a7sii Osmo, dji mavic pro2, gopro ecc) and they all have different settings.

So once exported i wish to check the results on an interlaced screen to see how it will looks when transmitted on television.

Thank you very much .. and sorry for my english 🙂
