charging the canon hv10 battery
i purchased the canon hv10 hdv camcorder and am unable to charge the batery.
I’m using the dc plug to charge the battery through the camera and i’m not having
any luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,
Please answer the following questions:
1.) Install the battery pack into the battery compartment of the HV10. (Make sure that you remove the battery terminal protective cover before attaching the battery) Plug in the AC Adaptor cable into the HV10 DC IN terminal. Plug the AC adaptor into a working AC outlet… Does the “CHG” (Charge) indicator begin flashing?
2.) Remove the battery pack from the HV10. Plug in the AC adaptor cable into the HV10 DC IN terminal. Plug the AC adaptor into a working AC outlet… Are you able to Power ON the HV10?
Please respond to the above questions so that we can detrmine where the problem is.
