  • Charger 12V for EX1?

I have not found a 12V charger for EX1. I really need one, since I do a lot of filming in far away places.

    Is it coming?
Are there any third-pary 12V chargers for EX1 on the market?

For now we use a small car inverter.

    Hi Jim,

Do you mean converting the 12V to 110V and then you charge the battery from that?

Seems to be a smart method. Are there any drawbacks?

None that I’ve experienced unless you leave your inverter plugged in and it runs your battery down overnight, though we leave it on for several (3 or 4) hours at a time and there’s no problem. They’re not expensive and work anywhere in the world where you have a 12V car system.

Be careful. Not all vehicles have a negative ground. Some are positive.
