  • Character/Text/Font Bug during render

I hope this is something simple, but during rendering the characters on some text layers alternate between other characters from frame to frame.

I have noticed that sometimes the characters will jump to the next one alphabetically, eg A becomes B, G becomes H etc etc

I have found that if I make an alteration to the text layer just before a render it seems to go away however this is very time consuming to alter every single text layer in all my nested comps before rendering.

I’m running AE CS3 on an 8 core Mac pro with 3GB ram

I also have suitcase fusion running which controls all my fonts.

Any more info you need just ask, but i hope this helps. Thanks!!!

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply, but this is a problem that I want to go away, not an effect I’m trying to create!!!

Nope, it’s an all graphics ad! There are some photos & logos in there of course, but just .psd & .ai files. I might have used a pdf in there for a logo too if that makes a difference?
