  Character Rigging: Stuck on Animating

  Hi there,

  So I’ve built a basic character rig (using this tutorial and an almost identical model: https://vimeo.com/29922999)

  The problem is when I get to the animation part. For example, at about 14:50 in the video, he is able to start moving the character around. I cannot achieve this, or any kind of basic limb re-arrangements (such as the basic movement this guy does at 16:50 mark, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8MxLHOdg3I)

  I just can’t do anything with the model, except ‘add walk’ which works (e.g. the model is being moved by the rig) – but what I really want is to be able to adjust the arms, head and legs myself.

  Any help much appreciated, I must be missing something simple…
