Character font drop menu in Illustrator
This has been driving me crazy for two weeks.I just reinstalled XP. I loaded all my programs and found out All my fonts use to be in the character drop menu on Illustrator and now they are gone. I do not like using type/font preview from top bar It takes forever to scroll through 2000 fonts.
With the drop menu it was nice. I highlighted my text on screen, and then i was able to scroll my mouse wheel through the selection at ease and with speed until i found the fonts i wanted for any given design. Now that there is nothing there, I can not do anything. I do not know where they went or how to get it back to normal.I tried to reset the prefs. It did nothing. I deleted them manually. Still nothing.
Reinstalled Illustrator after deleting every instance of it on my pc and registry. It just will not load back the way i have been using it for the last two years. Making logos just got a lot harder. Im ready to put a foot through my system.. Please, if any one has ever had this problem. you know the pain! Help if you can! I will buy you an internet pizza! -
