chapter points problem
I have avi files saved with chapters from premiere.When I import them to encore as timeline (or when i create a timeline for every avi asset) the chapters are ok. However if try to add a second avi asset into a timeline next to existing avi asset then only the first asset keeps the chapter points. Is there way ta add video assests one after the other, to atimeline, and keep the chapter points made in premiere in the right position??

Not really.
The XMPSES file generated by Premiere will have the chapter points embedded with reference to the timecode of the clip they were created in.
As clip 1 will be starting at 00:00:00;00 then this will maintain the chapter points.
Unless you start the timecode in Premiere as other than zero, it will not automatically offset the points.
