Chapter markers & nested VEG files
I have been trying out the nested veg feature for the the first time using Vegas 6. The one thing that I notice, once another veg is on the time line that a brown vertical line appears where I had placed a marker before I saved the original veg. I had assumed that since the markers were indicated they would be picked up in DVDA for use there but this seems not to be the case. Is there some switch that I missed setting? Are these lines just guides to help in placing a new marker on the new project?

After adding the VEG file, try running the “Promote Media Markers” script.

Thanks for that information about the script. I’ve now used it & it works. I shall have to remember that whenever I use nested veg files to be sure to put a market at the beginning of each veg file since this is unnecessary when your not using the nested feature.
