So I shot a 3.5 hour concert that I need to burn onto two DVD’s. I put 8 chapter markers and will do 4 per DVD. When I export my FCP project through Quicktime (not as stand-alone clip) and include the chapter markers, I do so by highlighting half the project first. Then, when I import the following .mov into iDVD, it still contains all 8 chapters, and even if I delete the extra ones on the timeline, it says the project has exceeded the maximum for burning to DVD. How can I troubleshoot this? Did I export it correctly (by highlighting half of it first and choosing to include chapter markers)? Thanks!!!!!

You need to use DVDSP to accomplish this.

Don’t highlight your timeline. Instead, mark an in & out point on the timeline before exporting to Quicktime.
