Wanted to see if anyone has experienced this problem and if you had any solutions. We have a new Panasonic AG-HVX200. We have only been experiencing this problem in the past two weeks. We use a Seinheiser wireless lav for our interviews and plug it into the channel 1 xlr audio. We can see levels on the camera lcd and can hear the interview in our headphones. But the issue is when we look at the tape after the shoot there is NO audio on Channel 1. And this happens at irregular times. During a shoot you can have all your first interviews missing audio but later on in the shoot the interviews have audio. I don’t know if this is a camera repair issue or what. Please help we are losing lots of good shooting material. Thanks.

Sounds like a camera issue. Have you tried recording the interviews on channel 2? Or check the connections?

I will check everything. You haven’t heard of hearing sound through the camera and not having it laid down to tape have you? Thanks for you help. NIck
