Changing VITC settings on old Sony DVW-500P deck
On an aging Sony DVW-500P DigiBeta deck we’ve got here, I can access the settings fine. I can scroll down to a setting using the jog wheel, then hold down the ‘jog’ button and adjust that setting, no problem.
I’ve got a strange problem with setting 703- blank lines. When I hold down ‘jog’, all I can control is the main overall “all line” setting. Maybe I’m being dim but I can’t work out how to access the other sub-settings on that page, that would allow me to turn off the blanking individually on different lines. I’ve tried all sorts of combination of buttons, without success.
I can’t seem to find a proper manual online for it either.
Any hints please anyone?

Go to Menu 703. Holding down the Stop button gets you scrolling down individual lines. Highlight the desired line and than with the Jog change the value.
