How do you change the Vertical Detail Frequency in a scene file? Right now all scene files have it set to “Thin” and will not allow me to change them. I am under the impression that the “Thick” setting will give better results when down converting to SD. Am I right or wrong? Does anyone have a nice film look scene file that they would like to share?

You can only change that setting when you’re in SD modes (RECORDING SETUP set to 480 or 576). When in HD modes it’s always going to use THIN, regardless of what that menu item says (in blue).
