changing trimmer window
The previous message did not get deleted. I don’t think I posted it but I cant find a place to delete it either. So I have to clear the message and post my present problem. I tried to upload a screen shot as gif file but it didn’t seem to work. The program corel would only save a screen shot in either gif or bmp. Actually it would save it in several others but not jpg. Other programs might be able to save it in jpg In the timeline I see only thumbnails. I would like to see the picture like I see in media preview window. I am assuming it may have something to do with the size of the file it is displaying.I see nothing in cow that seems to answer the uploadidng of gif pictures or size of upload

If you’re asking about taking a screenshot of your desktop, IrfanView (it’s free) will do this and let you save it in a wide variety of formats.
It will also allow you to load in your gif or bmp and save it out as a jpg.
BTW, I have a hard time believing that Corel won’t allow you to do that (load and resave in a different format). -
I figured it out. It helps to read the instructions.
On the other hand it helps to be able to see.
This will show what I mean. I know there is an answer to the question but I think I will have to upload before I can see it, -
Corel will save in tiff, bmp, gif, cpt, and cpx. This is an old version of Corel. COW will upload in gif. I have one eye and it is not very good. So I had not read the upload instructions closely. Text in COW in the normal view is not very dark on a light screen. Maybe I have not got the adjustment right to fix this even though I tried to fix it in setting up the computer screen. But take a look at the screen shot and see what I mean about thumbnails.
