Changing the shape of Cookie Cutter
I’m trying to use the Cookie Cutter tool to cut out a person’s body from my footage so I can blur the background. Is there anyway to customize the shapes in the cookie cutter tool? The best one so far has been Oval Side but I’d like to get it longer and more narrow. Is there any way to do that? Or is there a better solution to what I’m trying to achieve?

For doing odd shapes, I prefer the bezier mask tool found in Pan/Crop.

Use masking for something like that. Go to the pan/crop tool and click the bottom timeline of the clip. Then click on the fountain pen-looking icon on the left of the window. You can then draw a shape around that person by plotting points.
To stop it looking so jagged once you do this I recommend setting the feather to 5-30% (try different values to get an idea of what looks best) and *something I can’t look up right now and can’t remember* to “Both”.
