    Hello.
I have measurements of a scene that I’m building in Cinema 4D, but when I put the correct sizes in (1.5m square table, for example) the object looks far too small in relation to the scale of the camera.

I need to multiply the real measurements tenfold in order for the objects to work at a reasonable size. Is there a way that I can stay at the real-world size, and just change the global scale to suit?

The problem I’m having is that the objects are so small that I don’t have any control over the camera, as I’m zoomed in too far. I’ve changed the viewport grid, but it doesn’t change the actual scene scale.

    Thanks,
    James

change your units to centimetres (or decimetres) is the simplest way. You will have to scale what you’ve built already though.

In general it’s better not to work at such small sizes because you can run into floating point precision problems, but you may be able to get away with it if camera speed is the only problem. There are relatively new setting in Preferences>Viewport where you can adjust move/scale/rotate speeds.
