Changing the Camera Angle CS3
Posted by Wayne Jaworek on April 30, 2008 at 7:20 amI am trying to create a DVD with multiple camera angles during play. I do not know how to get this option working though and cannot find any information about it online. Is this option even available in Encore CS3?

April 30, 2008 at 1:22 pmI was just wondering the same thing last night (about camera angles). I wonder if Adobe has plans to add this option in in a later version.. (Guess I have to go googling now!)

April 30, 2008 at 11:41 pmOn the PC (outside of Scenarist), you can do multiple angles with DVD Lab Pro 2.x and DVD Architect Pro 4.x
DLP will require that you can encode your assets before authoring (as it does not come with high-quality mpeg encoder).

May 1, 2008 at 3:29 amThanks for your help. I got a little worried last night when I couldn’t find anything in Encore. Do you know if free demo versions of either of those programs exist online? Hopefully I can find something from a google search.

May 1, 2008 at 8:07 pmI found the option to download DVD Architect, but not DVD lab. All I could find for DVD lab was the older version download which does not have the multiangle capabilities.
Here’s the link for the DVD Architect Pro4 demo download:

April 6, 2009 at 2:41 amJust wondering if there has been any further developments in ‘camera angle’ authoring. I have developed a technique of laying down the exact same audio track into multiple camera angles for upcoming Blue Ray project. I am interested to know if any more info on this is available.
It seems to me that if each video file was the exact same length in frame count one could just switch files while playing just one audio track.
