Changing the background color of the source monitor…
Is it at all possible to change the background color of the source monitor. I am going through a rebrand on air look and all the type in our deko is now black. When loaded into the source monitor it is just black on black and of course not readable. I have never see this done but thought I would ask the forum. I am on Media Composer 5.5/HPZ800.

Not that I know of, perhaps one of the supporting files could swapped out, but that might be dangerous. Great feature request though.

to work around this once, I put the graphics in a sequence on V2, with a white slug underneath on V1, then used that as my source.

I will suggest it to AVID as a new feature and dropping it over white is probably not a bad idea. Thank you both.
