I am using Adobe after effects CS3 Pro. I made a little ‘title animation’ for my wedding web-site (www.jdmvideoproductions.co.uk). It not uploaded yet as I have made a mistake on one of the animations. I incorrectly typed in a wrong telephone number. Although AF rendered it as a .MOV (I have an apple imac), I cannot seem to alter the telephone number using AF. Is it at all possible? Any help would be possible. Many thanks.

    Hi John,

You would need to edit the original project with the text layer selected…sounds to me like you’re trying to edit the MOV itself.

Also, it’s very common to make minor mistakes like this, and if you render directly to a video format (mov/avi, etc) you will have to rerender everything from scratch.

What I do is to render everything to image sequences (PNG-files), and doublecheck everything prior to delivery. If all is fine, I just merge the PNG:s into a mov/avi and ship. This saves a lot of time, especially if the project is huge and the amount of time available is not.

    Regards,
    Rikard
