  Changing start time in a NDF timeline

  I want to change the start time on my timeline to start 10 seconds before 00:00:00:00 (23:59:50:00), but I discovered that I can only do that in Drop-frame mode. In non-drop frame, it seems to lay down an arbitrary timecode (00:01:16:09).

  I am able to set some earlier start times (eg. 23:57:50:00) no problem. Could someone explain why and if I change the timeline to DF with NDF clips on it, will that cause a problem (especially syncing audio from separate source (Zoom)?
