    Ok I’m stumped.

I’m unable to change the starting timecode of my sequence (right now is 00;00;00;00)

I’ve read that I need to change the Start Time in the panel drop down menu, but that menu no longer exists as everything has been moved to the “wrench” drop down menu. Well there is no “Start time” selection and I’m stumped.

    I’m on version 8.2.0.

    Hi Kevin,

[Kevin McDonald] “I’ve read that I need to change the Start Time in the panel drop down menu, but that menu no longer exists as everything has been moved to the “wrench” drop down menu. Well there is no “Start time” selection and I’m stumped. “

Panel menus have moved next to the tab name. They appear as 3 small lines. Click there for the option.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Is there any reason why this isn’t part of “Sequence Settings” ?

I know the menus were overhauled…

but it still feels like things that ought to be together are a bit dispersed.

    Hey Kevin,

Thanks for your reply, I furiously right clicked everyone in the program and found it!

What I can’t seem to understand is why Modify>Timecode doesn’t seem to have any purpose at all and is greyed out. Adobe has made great strides in a lot of ways, and I love Premiere, but their a couple little things that leave me scratching my head from time to time.

That’s an excellent idea. I like it. You know what to do! https://adobe.ly/feature_request

That command is for media clips.
