  • Changing selection size for transformations in a layer

I want to use Bezier Warp and other transformations on various layers in a composition. However, each layer has the same transformation box size– that is, the size of the biggest layer, and that’s a problem when some of the layers are pretty small. Is there a way I can shrink down the box sizes to fit each of the smaller layers and allow for more maneuverability?

Also, I’m using After Effects CS3 if that matters.

    Thanks.

Where did these layers come from?
If you imported them from a Photoshop file, try importing again and look more carefully at the importing options. Specifically the part where it talks about layer sizes…

Ah, I see. If I import with “cropped layers” it doesn’t seem to be a problem. Thank you!

    Yay! Glad that solved it.
