Changing Screen Zoom or Font Size

The beautiful thing about Premiere Pro is that each panel can be dragged to anywhere. If you use a second monitor, you can drag the timeline to the 2nd monitor and resize it to fit the entire monitor. If timeline is your issue, you may want the second monitor to be 32″ or 40″ so you can greatly enlarge the timeline.

For the playback display, Ctrl+~ would fully display the source, or the program panel.

That’s very kind of you. Adobe’s font sizes are very small indeed. I did a quick research here and I couldn’t find a solution inside of Premiere.

Did you try to solve it using Windows tools? I’m sure there’s a way of doing that through the Operational System. Just type “eye control settings” in your search bar and you will find it.

Go to the Displays setting in System Preferences. Change the Resolution setting to one of their offerings. HTH

If you and your friend don’t know about this, it will change your life:

On System Preferences>Accessibility>Zoom, click the checkbox for “Use Scroll Gesture with Modifier Key to Zoom.” The default setting is the Control key.

Then, when you want to zoom in and magnify the screen, hold down Control and use your mouse wheel or finger on a Magic Mouse to scroll up, and the image will magnify centered on your mouse pointer location. Do the reverse to zoom back.

On a laptop without a mouse, there’s a key combo that does a similar thing. I think it’s Cmd-Opt-+ and Cmd-Opt–, but I’m going from memory and not on a laptop as I write this.
