Changing pitch with keyframes?
Hello
I have a steady, constant motor engine sound effect. Is there a way to change the pitch and speed over time via keyframes? This way I can match it to the speed of the vehicle in a video, without having to actually record the exact sound.
I am new to Audition but I have basic knowledge of sound editing.

Time and Pitch/Manual Pitch Correction will do the trick for you. Apply it to your clip, then apply keyframes to the yellow line which appears. You can then drag them to adjust the pitch to where you want it.

I applied the effect but there is no line which appears. Could you please talk me through this like I am an idiot who has never used Audition before? Thanks

If you’re looking at the timeline on a stereo clip, there will be yellow line in the middle, generally showing the volume. When you go into the Pitch Change feature, the yellow line will be in the middle, but showing 0 semitones pitch change. Click it to add a keyframe.
I’m not in front of my machine at the moment, but if you’re still not seeing the line, try making the pitch change, then doing the keyframing.
