Changing Pitch like in Acid
Hey there
It’s been a while since I’ve used Sonic Foundry Acid (Now Sony Acid), but I recall that there was an easy way to change the pitch of a loop. By default the loop was in C, but then you could easily raise or lower it by letter (or musical key, such as A# or B).
Can you do that in Audiotion?

If you go to the edit side click on EFFECTS>TIME/PITCH>PITCH BENDER, you can raise or lower pitch ……….. WILLIE

actually, there’s an easier way to do that and it’s by right clicking on the loop in the timeline, and choosing Loop Properties. You can then just tell it how many half steps to go up or down.
The thing is, what I am trying to do, is change it by key – not half steps. In Acid, you can litterly just press a key (on your keyboard) to raise or lower the key (in the musical scale).
That’s what I was hoping to do.
