Is there a simple way to “gang” clips together so that changing the effect parameters on one clip will change the parameters on other clips in a group of clips? I want to apply a Luma Key to many clips on my V2 track and then set the gain, scaling, position and crop parameters to be the same across all of these clips. These are 12 second clips that are repeated for about an hour and 17 minutes, so I’m looking for a way to globally adjust parameters without copying and pasting endlessly.

Alternatively, is there an easy way to “consolidate” the clips into a single long clip (sorry for the vocabulary–I’m a music editor new to Media Composer) and then use keyframes when I want to change parameters from the initial settings?

Thanks in advance for any help,

If you create the effect, and set the parameters to your liking, you can drag that clip into a bin. Now, go into segment mode, and shift click each clip, so they’re all selected. Now, double click the effect in the bin and that effect will be applied to all clips.
