  Changing paging file and registry size to improve avid performance

  HI
  I am using Avid Symphony 3.5.3. IBM Zpro 883 mhz with 512 Ram. Operating System: Windows 2000
  I am having serious problems with speed performance. I may be opening a project in 6 or 7 minutes. Imposible way of working.
  Anybody knows if changing the paging file and/or registry file may improve the performance of the system ??
  Currently the number I have are Paging File: 768 (1.5 memory size ) and registry size: 55

  Please help me and send me ideas……
