  • changing minimum row height in an Indesign Table

I’m struggling with an issue in Indesign tables. I’m creating a table in InDesign, but I need Rows to have almost the same height as the text, so I can include a lot of Rows in a small space. The problem is that when I resize them, text dissapears. It seems like text needs a minimun row height. Can I change this?

To elaborate: I have only 6 pages to work with and the information for my table is taking up more than that space. I have the row height set to it’s minimum for 7 pt. type size without getting a red dot for “missing text.” I cannot reduce the type size for this project. I’ve adjusted “padding” but it just moves the type within the cells, not the “table line” with it. Someone please respond if they have the answer or some sort of solution for me.
