  changing medias

  Hi,
  I’m working on FCP7 and just finished editing but!
  I have to change all the madia on the timeline with deferent footage but with the same tc and sours (actually it’s the same footage – different format).
  I have the new footage, gave it a new name, marked clip on my timeline and ask “reconnect media”.
  for some resone the name of the clip on my timeline didn’t change.
  How can I be sure that the footage really changed and that FC is using the new footage and not the old one.

  Did I do something in the wrong way?
