    Hi all,

I hope the following is possible to do.

I received some tapes that were dubs (not TC Clones 🙁 ) for offlining from.
The tapes have BITC from the master tapes.

What I need to do (having already digitised the tapes), is change the Media Start to match the first frame of each clips’ BITC – making the online confrom a whoel lot less painful!

so if the STC of the clip is 00:00:00:00 and the BITC is 01:00:30:02, I need to make the Media Start in FCP say 01:00:30:02.

Can I do this without taking the media offline and redigitising everything?

    Thanks in advance!

    Dave

    Go to Modify > Timecode.

Bizarrely I did try that but it would not let me change the timecode. One restart later and all is well again.

Thanks for the quick response and for making me try one more time!
