Changing L3 DX rates efficiently
Hi,
I have a sequence which is covered in subtitles and I need to change the fade in/fade out
rate for all of them. Does anyone have an efficient suggestion? I tried changing my
default transition and dragging the track to “Overwrite with Transition’ but that had no effect.

I’m not exactly sure if this will work, but it’s worth a shot. First, duplicate the timeline and work from the duplicate so that you’ll have a good copy of the timeline in case this doesn’t work.
It sounds like all of your subtitles are in the same track, if this is so select all clips in that track (and only that track) control-click a TRANSITION, not the subtitle clip in the track and select the duration option from the drop down menu. Change the duration once the dialog box pops up.

Are the fades for the subtitles created with a transition effect or were they created with opacity keyframes?

I used a transition effect. With keyframes I probably could change it globally.
