OK, I know this isn’t technically an Avid question, but one of my monitors just died and I can’t seem to figure out how to change my graphics card back to single monitor setting. I have a Matrox Millennium G450 which I’m running on a Windows XP home PC. I have the Matrox disc but I’m not running the version on the disc, I have an updated one. I’m writing this post from my wife’s computer because the internet window opens on the dead monitor on my computer, as do other windows I need to access.
(Jon Z, break out the Urgent hat from the Urgent case and crank up Foreigner.) :-O

Can’t you right click on the desktop, go to Properties, then your Settings tab and change it from 2 monitor display to 1.

You may have to go to the Advanced settings for your card, but more than likely you can just right click, Settings, Single Monitor, Apply.

    Let us know.

    Michael.

It worked! Thank you so much. You do have to go to advanced, then dual head tab, then features, then dual head display, then select or in my case de-select dual head multi-display, then apply and re-start.

    Thanks again!
