Hi, This may seem like a noob question but here it goes. I have many, many layers in my comp that are set to 25fps. They all need to be changed to 30fps. Is there any way to do that without having to reinterpret each individual file? I have looked for a script to change just the frame rate of a group of files but I have not come up with anything. Thanks for any help!!!

i assume by ‘layers’ that are set at 25fps, you mean footage layers….

in the project window, when you select a piece of footage and change the frame rate in the interpret footage settings, you can then select that file and choose file>interpret footage>remember interpretation.

then you can select all the other footage items that you want to apply the same interpretation settings to and choose file>interpret footage>apply interpretation. now all those select footage pieces will have the same interpretation.

if you can comps that you also want change the frame rates of, there is a script called something like selected comps changer at crgreen.com/aescripts/ that will let you change the comp settings for multiple comps at once.

Hey thanks for the response! I did mean footage layers =). I have tired the “remember interpretation” and it works great except that I need to just change the frame rate of each layer. It also changes the way the alpha of the footage is handled, but each footage layer needs a different setting that I don’t want to change. Is there anyway to isolate just the frame rate option? Thanks again
