changing font type and size in mogrt file templates
hey there,
this issue driving me a bit nuts. Seems can’t change the font easily using purchased mogrt templates within PP . I’m on 2018 version, and just cant go to 2019 at the moment ( i understand that is a huge update). Whats odd is that some templates within PP, I see there is some ability to change the font type. But anything created with AE it seems , there’s a long process to do the font change…and even then can’t seem to change the font size.. seems so odd, and makes the templates pretty useless.
Does anyone have any clarity, insight, workarounds, or know where I can buy some templates where the font is adjustable.

2019 enables creating Mogrts with the ability to change fonts.
No workaround for earlier versions. -
If you need to modify an existing mogrt to allow font changes:
Add.zip to the end of the mogrt filename
MyTitle.mogrt -> MyTitle.mogrt.zipOpen the zip and extract the .aegraphics file
Add .Zip to the .aegraphics file
MyTitle.aegraphics -> MyTitle.aegraphics.zipOpen the zip and extract the .aep file
Open the .aep file on AE
Open the Essential Graphics panel
Next to the text field you want to modify, click on Edit Properties
Check the box that says “Enable Custom Font Selection.”
If you want, also check the other boxes.Click the Export Motion Graphics Template button a the bottom of the Essential Graphics panel.
Save the new mogrt and then install it in Premiere.
You should now be able to change the typeface and font in Premiere.
